Vacuum Link
An app for managing of vacuum pumps such as those used in research ranging from mass spectrometry to aerospace to particle colliders. The app is designed for both iOS and Android platforms.
A user connects the app to each pump with either bluetooth via NFC or serial cable.
The interface allows customers to customize the parameters they want to control and monitor. It also offers recording and plotting capability. Data can be easily exported to a computer for display, sharing, and analysis.
Creating log files is easy and sharing them is extremely quick using the regular features available on virtually any cell phones.
The power of the Vacuum Link App is in its graphs and monitoring ability. However, the complexity of this app is in the setup. Here are some screens that users require to set up the app to their exact needs. Screens with actual data (ie. the more interesting ones) are covered by Agilent's confidential IP and cannot be shared.
